Community Guidelines
Our mission is to help you and your dog find your local community through dog-friendly meetups, walks, social events, and shared adventures.

To ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone (two-legged and four-legged members), we ask that the Woof Pack community adhere to these guidelines.

By using Woof Pack, you agree to our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
1. Be a Responsible Pack Member
-
Be Respectful: Treat fellow members with kindness, courtesy, and respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, bullying, or any form of offensive behavior towards any individual or dog will not be tolerated.
-
Be Inclusive: Embrace the diversity of our pack – different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and people.
-
Communicate Clearly:
-
Respond promptly: If you've been matched or contacted, do your best to respond in a timely manner, even if it's to decline.
-
Be honest: Accurately represent yourself and your dog(s) in your profile and communications.
-
Update availability: Keep your profile current, especially regarding your dog's temperament and your availability for individual meetups or group events.
-
-
Punctuality: If you arrange a meetup, be on time. If you're running late or need to cancel, communicate with your match.
-
Leave No Trace: If meeting in a public space, clean up after your dog(s) and dispose of waste properly.
2. Safety is Paramount
Your dog's safety, and the safety of other dogs and dog owners arranging in-person meetups, is your primary responsibility.
-
Know Your Dog: You are the expert on your dog's behavior, temperament, and health. Only arrange meetups that are appropriate for your dog's personality and energy level. If your dog has specific needs or triggers (e.g., leash reactivity, fear of certain breeds, resource guarding), disclose this before agreeing to a meetup. Dog owners who are actively working on improving social skills should create a safe space and distance to practice these skills together!
-
Current Vaccinations & Health: All dogs participating in Woof Pack activities are expected to be up-to-date on all legally required vaccinations (e.g., Rabies) and recommended vaccinations (e.g., Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella). Do not bring sick or potentially contagious dogs to meetups.
-
Spay/Neuter Status: While we welcome all dogs, be mindful that some members may prefer to meet only with spayed/neutered dogs. Please respect these preferences and be transparent about your dog's status.
-
Leash Laws & Control: Always adhere to local leash laws and maintain control of your dog at all times. Even in off-leash areas, your dog should have reliable recall and be actively monitored during meetups.
-
Supervision: Never leave your dog unattended at a meetup. Maintain supervision to prevent conflicts or accidents.
-
No Aggression: Dogs with a history of unprovoked aggression towards other dogs or humans are not suitable for group meetups facilitated by Woof Pack. If your dog exhibits aggressive behavior during a meetup, you must immediately remove them from the situation. We recommend seeking the help of a professional trainer for behavioral rehab.
-
Parasite Prevention: Though not required, we recommend regular flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
3. Your Responsibility & Liability
Woof Pack is a platform designed to facilitate connections. We do not vet individuals or dogs beyond the information provided in profiles, nor do we supervise meetups or events.

-
Assume All Risk: By arranging and participating in meetups, you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own safety, the safety and behavior of your dog(s), and any actions of those you meet through the Woof Pack service.
-
Due Diligence: We strongly encourage you to use your best judgment when choosing to connect with other members and their dogs. Ask questions, observe interactions, and trust your instincts.
-
No Guarantee: Woof Pack does not guarantee the temperament, health, or reliability of any member or dog you encounter through our service.
-
Insurance: Members should consider personal liability insurance and pet insurance to cover unforeseen incidents or accidents.
4. Reporting & Community Abuse
We are committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy community. If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines or makes you feel unsafe, report it immediately.
