Welcome to Woof Pack. By accessing or using our web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms govern your use of the Woof Pack application, including all content, features, and functionality provided.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Woof Pack application, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated int

2. Your Account and Profile

You are responsible for all activity that occurs within your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during the profile creation process.

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

 

A. User Profile
Your visible profile information, including your first name, photo, bio, and activity interests, will be publicly viewable by other Woof Pack users.
B. Dog Profile
Your dog's visible profile information, including name, photo, age, energy level, breed, gender, short bio, and temperament, will be publicly viewable by other Woof Pack users.
C. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
 

3. User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

 

  • Harassment: Posting or transmitting any content that is threatening, abusive, defamatory, or harassing to other users.

  • Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your identity.

  • Fraud: Engaging in any fraudulent activity, including misrepresenting your personal or dog's information.

  • Spam: Sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or spam to other users.

  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Posting content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to terminate your account for any violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

4. Matches & Direct Messaging

  • Matching: The matching system is based on an algorithm using zip code and other criteria you provide. We do not guarantee a specific number of matches or that any match will result in a connection.

  • Messaging: The Direct Messaging feature is exclusively for matched users. Any attempt to contact a user you are not matched with is prohibited. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages.

5. Events & In-Person Meetups

  • Assumption of Risk: You understand and agree that all in-person interactions, including meetups and events, are undertaken at your sole discretion and risk. You assume full responsibility for yourself, your dog, and your property, as well as for your interactions with other users and their dogs. You acknowledge that Woof Pack does not vet users or dogs, and we are not responsible for, nor can we be held liable for, any loss, injury, damage, or dispute that may arise from or in connection with any in-person meeting.

  • Community Guidelines: By using this app to arrange meetups, you agree to abide by our Community Guidelines. While Woof Pack is not responsible for the conduct of users, we reserve the right to investigate reports of incidents and may take action, including account termination, against any user who violates these guidelines.

  • Event Content: You are solely responsible for the content of any event you host or comment on, including the accuracy of event details and location.

  • Attendance: Woof Pack is a tool for connecting users. We are not responsible for the outcome of any events, the conduct of attendees, or any damages or injuries that may occur.

6. Intellectual Property

The Woof Pack application, including its design, text, graphics, and all other content, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the application without our express written consent.

  • By submitting content (e.g., photos, bios, comments), you grant Woof Pack a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the application.

7. Disclaimers

The Woof Pack application is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the application will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Woof Pack, its affiliates, officers, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where Woof Pack is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, in our sole discretion. If we make changes, we will post the modified Terms on the application and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend that you review these Terms periodically to stay informed of our practices.
